Yongshun County People’s Hospital was established in 1946. It was Hunan No.8 Provincial Hospital, Yongshun District Hospital, and Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture No.2 People’s Hospital successively. It was renamed Yongshun County People’s Hospital in 1983.
At present, it is a comprehensive Class-A Grade-2 hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care.
In the hospital there are 260 fixed beds with 313 beds actually open to the public. There are 408 employees, including 333 medical service technicians, 20 with senior professional titles and 120 with intermediate professional titles.
