In recent years, Guzhang County has made great endeavors to promote the transformation and upgrade of the tea industry. Working in conjunction with the team led by Academician Chen Zongmao and Academician Liu Zhonghua, it has made continuous efforts at the construction of organic tea gardens, research and development of new products, and actively demonstrated new achievements in tea science and technology. Up to now, Guzhang County’s green ecological tea garden has covered an area of nearly 200,000 mu (about 13,333.33 hectares), with an annual tea output of 11,000 tons and an output value of 1.5 billion yuan. The tea industry has become the leading industry in Guzhang County to advance rural revitalization and enrich the people.
Guzhang County and Fujian Zhengshantang Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the joint construction of the digital industrial park.
